CTK TULSA DAY CENTER MEAL SPONSORSHIP
The Tulsa Day Center is currently serving clients in need at a limited capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic, but still needs to feed up to 70 guests per night. CTK is sponsoring a meal on Sept. 25 and asking interested parishioners to bake a casserole or cookies for this event. For health and safety concerns, the Tulsa Day Center staff will serve the meal. If you would like to help with preparing a casserole or baking cookies, please sign up below and drop off at the Sacred Heart Evangelization Center kitchen on Friday, Sept. 25 by 5 p.m. Casserole pans will be available in the vestibule after masses the weekend of Sept. 19/20. IGNATIAN SPIRITUAL EXERCISES RETREAT
The Ignatian Spiritual Exercises Retreat is a way for adults to grow more deeply in their relationship with God based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The 32-week retreat involves daily prayer and weekly small group meetings with a retreat companion. The retreat begins the first week of October 2020 through early May 2021. SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION CLASSES
Class registration is now open.Classes are open to all 2nd graders of the parish who will be receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Classes begin on Sept. 20 and are held every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Evangelization Center. Classes will meet in person with all social distancing protocols in place. These include appropriate spacing for seating, masks, and sanitation of the space before and after class. Should registration surpass the capacity of the Sacred Heart Evangelization Center under social distancing protocols, we will implement an A/B model with students alternating weekends for in-person class attendance. All participants will be notified of the final format prior to the first class. 40 DAYS FOR LIFE
We are pleased to share CTK is sponsoring Saturday, Oct. 3 (5 a.m. to 11 p.m.) for this year's 40 Days for Life campaign. With prayer, fasting and holding vigil, we will seek God’s power to heal the scourge of abortion in our city and world. Every year, the 40 Days for Life campaign brings together people in 63 countries and over 1,000 cities to pray, fast, and stand vigil at abortion facilities. Peacefully and prayerfully the many participants give witness to the dignity of unborn children and their mothers. Over 17,000 babies have been saved, 206 abortion workers have quit, and 107 abortion centers have closed. Sign up

HELP NEEDED: PERPETUAL ADORATION AT ST. JOHN MEDICAL CENTER
Started by a CTK parishioner, St. John Hospital has had perpetual Adoration (24 hours a day) since 1983. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they are seeking adorers to fill the schedule. What is required? Faithfully fill your selected hour of Adoration in the Sister's Chapel (located within the St. John Medical Center at 21st and Utica) once a week. Participants may spend their hour praying a Rosary, reading the Bible, sitting in quiet meditation, etc. All social distancing and sanitation measures are in place to provide a safe environment for worship. Additionally, the chapel door is locked for security and all adorers are provided a code for access.

CTK Emergency Ministry
The CTK Emergency Ministry is specifically geared to help parishioners of Christ the King. While the needs of our parishioners are all different during these unprecedented times, this ministry aims to provide support in a variety of ways.
