Family Enrichment

Family Enrichment is a course designed for couples of all ages who have children in the home and are seeking to strengthen their marriage and deepen their personal growth. This course will help couples by providing them with the knowledge and tools to achieve greater marital happiness, and ultimately better results in raising children.

Family Enrichment uses the case study method, commonly used in many MBA programs and law schools across the country, by facilitating critical thinking and dialogue based on pre-prepared cases addressing various issues in marital life. The first objective of Family Enrichment is to develop problem solving habits by analyzing the FACTS (not judgments, opinions or emotions) that both spouses have to agree on, deriving the PROBLEMS based on those facts (they may be different as each person has their own perspective) and looking for SOLUTIONS that are specific and concrete to solve the problems. Learning and putting into practice this methodology requires repetition and effort. This collaborative and proactive approach will benefit the relationship with your spouse, your children and co-workers.

The program includes:

  1. Individual case study and couple discussion
  2. Small group meetings
  3. General Sessions with 25-30 other couples

General Sessions will take place from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Christ the King and will be facilitated by an outside moderator. Sessions will also include time for socializing and drinks after the general session. Childcare will be arranged after registration as ministry leaders will be in contact with all couples to assess needs. General Sessions will be held on the following dates:
