Joan and I were involved in many positions at St. Francis Parish in Oklahoma City during the time of raising our four wonderful children. I was ordained a deacon on February 15, 1985 in Oklahoma City for the Diocese of Tulsa. I was assigned to the Parish of Christ the King by Bishop Eusebius Beltran, now retired Archbishop of Oklahoma City. I have served in many capacities here at the Parish of Christ the King over the years, working along side four pastors and about thirty associate pastors. God still continues to bless me in my work and has shown me I have much more to do here at the Parish of Christ the King. I definitely enjoy working with and for the wonderful people of this great parish.

Christ the King has been my parish family since I started kindergarten at Marquette, and I have been blessed to serve here as a deacon since my ordination on June 17, 2017. My wife, April, is an assistant professor of nursing at OU-Tulsa, and our son, Spencer, attends Cascia Hall, where I work in campus ministry. In addition to my diaconal formation studies, I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in English and K-12 principal's certifications from NSU. My favorite saints include Our Mother of Good Counsel, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Augustine, St. Rita of Cascia, St. Stephen, and St. Lawrence.
