Fr. Elkin Gonzalez, Pastor

I was born in Colombia, South America and ordained a priest in 2008 for the Diocese of Tulsa in my home country by Bishop Edward J. Slattery. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Education from the Catholic University in Rionegro, Colombia; a Master of Divinity from St. Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana; and a Licentiate and Doctorate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical Institute Teresianum in Rome. In addition to my duties as Pastor of the Parish of Christ the King, I also serve as Vicar General for the Diocese of Tulsa.

I am originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and graduated from Broken Arrow High School. I was ordained in May of 2017. I double majored in Philosophy and Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. I received my Masters in Divinity from Mount Saint Mary's Seminary of the West in Cincinnatti, Ohio. I am Associate Pastor of Christ the King and part-time Chaplain at Bishop Kelley.
Fr. Eichhoff, Retired
I was born and raised in Oklahoma City.  My brother, Fr. William Michael Eichhoff (1938-1997), and I became priests with the Catholic Church in the State of Oklahoma under Bishop Victor Joseph Reed. I attended Assumption Seminary in San Antonio, Texas and also the North American College in Rome where I was ordained in December 1970 when the State of Oklahoma was still one diocese.  I was in Tulsa when the Diocese of Tulsa was established in 1973 with Bishop Bernard J. Ganter. My first assignment was as associate pastor to the Parish of Sts. Peter and Paul and later assigned as pastor to St. Augustine and St. Jude. I was also the first pastor to the Parish of St. Benedict.  
Deacon Loren F. Luschen, Retired

Joan and I were involved in many positions at St. Francis Parish in Oklahoma City during the time of raising our four wonderful children. I was ordained a deacon on February 15, 1985 in Oklahoma City for the Diocese of Tulsa. I was assigned to the Parish of Christ the King by Bishop Eusebius Beltran, now retired Archbishop of Oklahoma City. I have served in many capacities here at the Parish of Christ the King over the years, working along side four pastors and about thirty associate pastors. God still continues to bless me in my work and has shown me I have much more to do here at the Parish of Christ the King. I definitely enjoy working with and for the wonderful people of this great parish.

I was ordained a Deacon in 2011, and I am currently assigned to the Parish of Christ the King. I graduated from University of Nebraska at Omaha with a B.S.B.A. in accounting. Michelle, my wife, and I enjoy traveling, dinner with friends and the frequent movie.

I was ordained a Deacon in 2011. Received an MBA in business from Oklahoma City University. Have been in healthcare as a respiratory therapist for 44 years. Personal hobbies include golf, playing cards, watching old movies, and bicycle riding. Three things people don’t know about me; one of eight siblings raised in Minnesota, the only person in my family taller than 5’10” and have 9 grandchildren.
Deacon Michael J. Loeffler​
Christ the King has been my parish family since I started kindergarten at Marquette, and I have been blessed to serve here as a deacon since my ordination on June 17, 2017. My wife, April, is an assistant professor of nursing at OU-Tulsa, and our son, Spencer, attends Cascia Hall, where I work in campus ministry. In addition to my diaconal formation studies, I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in English and K-12 principal's certifications from NSU. My favorite saints include Our Mother of Good Counsel, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Augustine, St. Rita of Cascia, St. Stephen, and St. Lawrence.
Deacon John Johnson
Deacon John hails from Southwest Oklahoma and grew up in the farming community of Granite. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Master degree in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma. He recently completed the four-year curriculum of the Catholic Cemetery Conference School of Leadership and Management Excellence at the University of Notre Dame. Deacon John was Ordained to the Permanente Deaconate in 2007. He served our Diocese as Chancellor from 2006 – 2016 when he became CEO for the Catholic Cemetery Association of Tulsa. He is assigned to the Parish of Christ the King, where his son, Patrick, is a 4th generation Parishioner and 3rd generation graduate of Marquette. He and his wife Margaret enjoy sports and traveling in their spare time.

I have a BS in Design, Housing, and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University. In 2004, I married my husband, Jon. We have been blessed with two beautiful children, who attend Marquette. I love to travel with my husband, cook for loved ones, and spend time with my children.

I was raised in India. I did all of my education in Jesuit schools and colleges including my Bachelor of Accounting and Commerce from St. Xavier's College in Calcutta and my Masters of Business Administration from St. Joseph's College in Trichy. My wife Ellen and I live in Kiefer and have two daughters, Priscilla and Patricia. I am a 5th year deacon candidate. I like to spend my free time reading and with my family.

I am a happily married mother of two girls who both attend Marquette School. I have been a member of Parish of Christ the King since joining the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, 2007. My favorite quote is "I don't sing because I'm happy, I'm happy because I sing." My favorite things include my Daily Devotional of “Jesus Calling”, my children’s laughter, and singing as loud as possible.

I am a transplant from Southern California and a convert to the Catholic Faith.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Organization and Ethics from the Oklahoma Wesleyan University. My lovely wife is April and I have a total of five children and two grandchildren.  I enjoy spending time with my family and working around the house.

My husband and I were married at Christ the King, and we are excitedly expecting our first child this Fall. I enjoy time with my family and spending time outside.

After graduation I worked at Catholic Charities Fort Worth before my husband and I decided to relocate back to Tulsa to raise our family. I love hanging out with my husband and three kiddos, traveling to new places, and art/design.

I was hired by Marquette Catholic Schools in January 2015 where I spent two and a half years as the Library Media Specialist and Records Administrator. In July of 2017, I was hired as the IT Manager for the Christ the King campus. My boys, PJ and Jack, and I have been members of St. Anne Catholic Church, in Broken Arrow, for the past five years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running and working out, watching my son play lacrosse for OU, and attending sporting events.

I am a transplant to Oklahoma, coming from Minnesota. I am a cradle Catholic and have served the church my whole life. I earned my Masters of Divinity in 1992 and worked for Christ the King in full-time ministry for 17 years in a variety of roles. My claim to fame would be 17 years of high school students going through our youth program and the building of the Boiler Room under the church. In 2009 I received a Masters in Counseling and became an Licensed Professional Counselor.  I recently became a Board Certified Chaplain working at St. John Health System. Three things about me; I am an Eagle Scout, I love sailing and reading.

I enjoy reading about the rich history of the Catholic Church and exploring the beauty of the sacred music of the Renaissance. When I am not at work I enjoy cooking, watching classic movies, and volunteering with Chamber Music Tulsa.

 Steven Piorowski, FOCUS Team Director
Hi my name is Steven Piorkowski, and I am glad to be serving here at Christ the King Parish! I'm a native from Arizona, graduated Northern Arizona University with a degree in education in 2012, after which I joined the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) and became a missionary and have served as a missionary for the last six years.  My mission is to continue to journey in coming to know Christ and make missionary disciples. In my spare time, I love football and hiking.
Megan Allen, FOCUS Parish Missionary
I graduated from Baylor University in 2014 with a BS in Health Science Studies.  After college I became a missionary with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS).  In 2016 my husband and I moved to Tulsa and I have been working at Christ the King as a FOCUS parish missionary since then.  I am also a FertiltyCare Practitioner with the Creighton method.  I work part-time as a FOCUS missionary and part-time as a FertilityCare Practitioner teaching couples and women natural family planning.  I love spending time with friends, reading, playing board games and hanging out with my husband and our son.
